Krauss - Sendak

I wasn’t familiar with this book, but after reading this article I’m in love. It’s naughty and silly and honest and (like everything Sendak did) just slightly dangerous. I loved that about reading Sendak and Silverstein when I was a kid. I always came away slightly damaged. Like some door was opened in my brain that shouldn’t have been opened, and now that it’s happened, I can never go back.
